Terms of service

The Atom terms of service are being finalised with counsel. They will be published here in full before the first account is opened, and nobody will be asked to agree to them before they exist.

Until then, this page is deliberately short. What follows is the commercial arrangement in plain language, because that part is settled. It is a description, not the agreement — where the two ever differ, the signed terms are what counts.

What Atom costs

A subscription of $9.95 a month, per company. Not per seat — owner, office and every technician are included, however many there are.

1% of the pre-tax amount of each invoice issued through Atom. Sales tax, and any tax collected for remittance, are not part of the amount the 1% is calculated on.

The subscription is waived for the first 60 days. The 1% applies from the first invoice, so those 60 days are not a free trial and we do not describe them as one.

Atom Home is free to homeowners. No charge, no subscription, no ads, and nothing that turns into a charge later.

There are no tiers, no volume caps, no feature gates and no setup fee. The pricing page works the same numbers through an example.

What this page does not cover

Liability, termination, governing law, dispute resolution, and the licence you grant us over your data are all in the agreement being drafted. We are not going to summarise them here — a summary of a document still being written is a second document that quietly disagrees with the first.

The privacy note is separate, already accurate, and covers the only personal data this site collects today.

Where Atom is

In staging, pre-launch. No operator is running on Atom yet and no accounts are open. Nothing on this site is an offer to contract.
