Most dashboards show counters — jobs today, awaiting scheduling, outstanding — and leave the dispatcher to work out what they mean. Atom leads with the exceptions, each with its action attached, so the morning is a queue you can empty instead of a report you have to read.
Light theme, because sunlight wins.
In direct sun a phone's backlight cannot beat ambient light — dark screens rely on emitted light for the text and lose. So the field app is light, the targets are 56px minimum and 64px for anything primary, and nothing needs a keyboard.

Atom Home is a full app: household inventory, service history, re-entry timers, station checks, approvals for extra work, and Proton — the homeowner assistant that answers from their own service record. It carries your business name. It costs you nothing.

One Nucleus with a thin Electron per trade, plus two assistants — Proton for the homeowner, Neutron for the office. That structure is why a second trade costs us a fraction of a second product, and why the whole thing can cost an operator $9.95 a month plus 1% of what they invoice.

Scheduling, routing, billing and inventory are the Nucleus, shared by every trade. Chemistry, programs and devices are Electrons — real modules, not a settings page pretending to be one.
Offline-first, not offline-tolerant
The field app writes to a local queue and treats the network as an optimisation. Sync state is visible per item, with conflict resolution the tech can understand.
One design system
Two themes, one semantic token layer, WCAG 2.2 AA measured rather than assumed. Status never rides on colour alone — every badge carries a glyph and a written label.
